GDC No. 135874

I am Analisa, one of the Hygiene Therapists at Simpson and Nisbet.

I qualified from Newcastle University in December 2010 and started my career here in April 2011. I love working as part of our friendly, caring, professional team.

Previous to studying at Newcastle University, I was a dental nurse so I have been working within the dental world for 10 years and enjoy every bit of my job. I am happily married to Neil and outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and socialising with friends.

Michelle Hope

Dental Hygienist

GDC No. 171061

Hi, I'm Michelle, I’m a registered Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist having qualified from Newcastle University in 2008.

I began working for Simpson and Nisbet in 2005, previously in the role of Dental Nurse. During my career as a hygiene therapist, I have undertaken roles within both private and NHS practices treating a range of patients and have an interest in education. I have previous involvement with postgraduate education for hygienists and therapists and currently, undergraduate teaching plays heavily with my routine.

I have a range of hobbies besides oral hygiene. I am obsessed with classic cars in particular class minis and I enjoy spending time with my partner at car shows, also I enjoy knitting and crochet.

Faye Fraser

Dental Hygienist

GDC No. 6693

Hello, I’m Faye, I’m one of the Dental Hygienists here and have been for over 22 years.

Those of you may remember me as I began my career working with John as his nurse, over 12 years ago. I have also spent over ten years working at Newcastle Dental Hospital as a tutor for hygiene therapy students, which I fully enjoyed.

My home life is equally as busy as I have three feral children and three wild dogs to run around after, all alone I may add as my partner leaves me for six months of the year to travel seas as he is in the merchant navy.

Ann Campbell

Dental Hygienist

GDC No. 4550

Hi I’m Ann and I have been at Dental Hygienist here at Simpson and Nisbet since 1999, so I am well known to many patients.

I qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1992 and started my early years in the Royal Navy, where I worked in the Dental Branch until I left in 1999.

I love my job, I work as part of a great team, meeting and speaking to the many patients here. When I am not at work, I am busy looking after my family. I am married to Simon and have two young boys, I enjoy socialising and going to the gym.

Rebecca Renforth

Practice Manager

GDC No. 161627

Hi, I’m Rebecca, most people call me Rebs and I’m the Practice Manager at Simpson and Nisbet Dental Centre. Since joining the practice in April 2009, I have covered a few job roles from Dental Nurse to Treatment Coordinator to now Practice Manager. Because of my history working here, I feel I can relate to all staff members and the job role they now find themselves doing as I’ve been there, done that, got the t-shirt so to speak.

My role as Practice Manager can be hard at times as any issues land at my door, but it can also be very rewarding to know that you are leading a team who are happy in their jobs. I feel that with Natalie, as the longest standing members of staff we set an example for the rest of the team.

As cheesy as it sounds we are like a family, it’s nice to have a comfortable environment to work in as I spend so much time here. We all especially like to wind up John as he falls for it every time but occasionally he does manage to get his own back!

Louise

Dental Nurse

GDC No. 269244

Hi, I’m Louise, I qualified in 2015 and started at the Simpson and Nisbet in 2016. I work part time at the practice and love being part of such a great team. Outside of work I like to travel and spend quality time with my family.
