Anna, another happy member of the team graduated from Newcastle University in 2006. Anna has gained extensive experience in the last 15 years and enjoys all aspects of dentistry. Anna is a friendly, compassionate dentist, who strives to help patients overcome any anxieties. Anna aims to provide dentistry in a relaxed and caring environment. She is committed to continually develop her professional skills. Anna is a qualified Invisalign provider, meaning that she can use clear, removable braces to treat patients who would like to straighten their teeth. In her spare time Anna enjoys spending time with her family and loves the outdoors

Dr Sarah Dias graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2018, winning the British Dental Association prize in General Dental Practice. Since graduating, Sarah has worked as a dentist in the North-East and in London. She has a special interest in placing and restoring dental implants, in addition to cosmetic dentistry such as Invisalign.
Sarah strives to deliver the highest levels of patient care and regularly attends courses to keep constantly up-to-date with the latest concepts and techniques. She is currently mid-way through a Master’s Degree in Implant Dentistry with the University of Salford. She successfully obtained her MFDS qualification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2019.
Sarah takes a holistic approach to her care with patients, with her main focus being to ensure they have the best quality of life possible. In relation to dentistry, this can be as simple as giving patients confidence in their smile, or more complex restorative work when needed.
Outside of dentistry, Sarah is a keen gardener, having utilised COVID lockdown to gain her Royal Horticultural Society formal qualifications. She can also be found doing numerous art projects such as pottery, painting or sewing.

Hi, I'm Michelle, I’m a registered Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist having qualified from Newcastle University in 2008.
I began working for Simpson and Nisbet in 2005, previously in the role of Dental Nurse. During my career as a hygiene therapist, I have undertaken roles within both private and NHS practices treating a range of patients and have an interest in education. I have previous involvement with postgraduate education for hygienists and therapists and currently, undergraduate teaching plays heavily with my routine.
I have a range of hobbies besides oral hygiene. I am obsessed with classic cars in particular class minis and I enjoy spending time with my partner at car shows, also I enjoy knitting and crochet.

Hello, I’m Faye, I’m one of the Dental Hygienists here and have been for over 22 years.
Those of you may remember me as I began my career working with John as his nurse, over 12 years ago. I have also spent over ten years working at Newcastle Dental Hospital as a tutor for hygiene therapy students, which I fully enjoyed.
My home life is equally as busy as I have three feral children and three wild dogs to run around after, all alone I may add as my partner leaves me for six months of the year to travel seas as he is in the merchant navy.

Hi I’m Ann and I have been at Dental Hygienist here at Simpson and Nisbet since 1999, so I am well known to many patients.
I qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1992 and started my early years in the Royal Navy, where I worked in the Dental Branch until I left in 1999.
I love my job, I work as part of a great team, meeting and speaking to the many patients here. When I am not at work, I am busy looking after my family. I am married to Simon and have two young boys, I enjoy socialising and going to the gym.

Hi. I am Rebecca. I have been working at Simpson and Nisbet since April 2009. I have covered various roles at the practice since joining. From Dental nurse, Receptionist, Treatment co-ordinator and now Practice manager. I feel I can relate to most of the dental team as I have already been in their job role myself and I have been there, done that and got the t-shirt so to speak.
My role as Practice manager can be hard at times as any concerns or issues land with me but it can also be very rewarding leading a team who are happy at work. It’s not all about our team but also our patients. I have been here so long I can usually tell who I am talking to on the phone before they have even given their name! If you look after your patients, they will be loyal in return.
Since John Simpson and Gill Nisbet retired in August 2023, I am trying to continue their legacy of a friendly, patient focused practice where everyone who walks through the door is happy (as much as possible in a dental practice) to be there.

Hello I’m Roxie, I joined the Simpson and Nisbet family as Deputy Practice Manager/Head Dental Nurse in July 2022. I qualified as a dental nurse in 2011 and qualified in a post qualification in dental radiography 2015. My journey to joining Simpson and Nisbet started in January 2022 where I was working as a locum nurse. They were so welcoming and friendly I just knew this was the place I wanted to be full time. So now a days you will find me with Rebs our practice manager and supporting the team between reception with my smart clothes on or in the surgery with my scrubs on.
In my spare time you will find me either dog walking or socialising with friends and family.
